Born in the heartland of America, Colton Bennett is a dedicated Christian, conservative, Army veteran, husband, and father.
Growing up on a family homestead, Colton learned the importance of hard work, loving his country, and serving his community. As a youngster he participated in 4-H, raising sheep, hogs, and poultry.
While in high school Colton participated in National level Speech and Debate competitions, worked as a legislative Intern for Utah Eagle Forum, and helped to manage the Local Ted Cruz Presidential Campaign in 2016.
Shortly after High School Colton enlisted in the United States Army where he has served for the last 5 years on both Active and Reserve Duty, earning the rank of Staff-Sergeant (E-6). During his time in the military Colton has served at home and abroad, completing a deployment overseas as a Combat Medic in 2022.
Upon his return to the United States he traded in his Army boots for Idaho roots, rejoining his wife, Sydney, in Idaho.
Colton and Sydney, live in Moscow with their one year old daughter, Hadassah. Colton has an Associates Degree in Health Sciences, and currently works as a Medical Assistant at Gritman Medical Center. He also serves as a Precinct Committeeman for the Latah County Republican Party.
Colton Bennett is excited to continue serving the District 6 community in the Legislature, and invites you to join him in bringing a conservative voice to Boise.
